February 1, 2016

Hey Family. Another great week and another one in the books. Time is just cruising, and life is just good.
Well first off we had the BAPTISMS of Ramon and Marcely. It was such a great experience. We had it planned to do it on Saturday at 6 in the night but in the morning we got a call from Celsy that Marcely wasn't going to arrive from out of town until like 8 in the night. SO we were scrambling all day and we got permission from President to do it at 9 in the night. It ended up being a very special service. For the first time in my mission we actually got started on time. Hna. Celsy gave a talk and we sang a special musical number (practicing for the Apostle) E. Lambson baptized Ramon and I got to be able to baptize Hna. Marcely. Honestly, the mission is just so good and those kind of days just make it all worth it. They both shared there testimony afterwards and talked about the great change that this Gospel has done for us. If we just live this Gospel and try doing  our best, God will mold us into his disciples. Im so happy for the two of them, and for Hna. Celsy, she is honestly jst so happy with all that has happened. I know they will be two strong converts and will be great examples.
So after that great note, we have not been able to find Sylvio. I guess he finally found work and is just working so much. Audi just built a huge station here where there going to make all one type of there cars here for the world, so he is working there. So his baptism date for the 6th fell but hopefully we can find him and get him back.
We found such a sweet less active family, who has been less active for about ten years. We actually contacted them in the street and started visiting them this week. They have a 22 year old girl named Marisol and here in Mexico when people greet each other witha  girl they always kiss on the cheek so I went to shake her hand and she totally went for the cheek kiss but im just to dang fast and it was a pretty awkward situation and she just screamed AWHHHH I FORGOT I FORGOT hahaha. But they are sweet they have a 13 year old son named Josue that is not a member so we put a date with him in about 6 weeks and they all came to church.
We also found a sweet Investigator and her daughter. There names are Francisca and Fernanda. We found them by knocking doors and there passing by lots of tough times right now, im pretty sure she is single and has to provide for her family alone. They came to the baptism and church this week which was great and we have a great couple that are being there friends and there just loving it. We also put dates with them and were pretty excited.
We've been trying to work tons with Members these past couple weeks because the Prophets keep telling us that there how were going to find Inv. and have the most baptisms. Its just been hard though, we can not get them going though. But were still going to try and see what happens.
The Area Presidency sent an Email to President the other day that he showed us. Were one fo the few missions in Mexico that actually went up in Convert baptism int he year of 2015 with lots less missionaries. That made us feel pretty excited. Were still not pulling super great numbers but we are achieving the same with 165 missionaries that when we had 230 missionaries. We ended up having a ´pretty good month of January and are excited to see what Feb. Brings.
We had a 4 hour meeting yesterday with a stake high Councilor over missionary work in one of our stakes here who was just a super successful missionary and baptized sooo much. We talked about what we can do to get Inv. Coming to church because that is our biggest problem as of right now. We got some pretty good ideas and are excited.
So our one senior couple we have in our mission are going home this week and we are going to move into there house. Its a lot closer to the offices and a lot bigger so we are super excited and maybe now we can do some exercise.
That's about it Fam, that's sweet that E. Oaks came, we actually have heard that he is the one coming to our mission to hahaha. Life here is good. I'm so thankful for this great opportunity that I have to grow and become a disciple of Christ. Love ya guys so much.
