Well first off, it was great talking to you guys on Friday
and see your bright and smiling faces. Glad to hear that everyone is
still doing super awesome and that you guys had a great Christmas. Mom, I laughed pretty hard when I read about the gun story but I'm still a
little confused about why you wanted a pistol in the first place and Roo
welcome to the club on the wrecking club, I still think that I'm in
first place cause I only ever ran into a pole and it was pretty sweet.
Well this week was pretty crazy, we just did lots of Christmas Conferences and only worked on Saturday
in our area. The Christmas Conferences went absolutely great and
everyone had a great time, sometimes its just good to get a little break
and just get your mind away from normal mission life. That's the one
hard thing about life right now though is trying to have a great area
when lots of times you don't get to work very much and sometimes like
this week you have 5 whole days of being out of your area but god
blessed us this week and we had 3 Investigators that came to church.
Were
still working on Victor Leon and he is sooo ready its just that we need
to find out what we can do to help him with his house situation. We
hope to be able to get him in the water this week maybe.
We
also started teaching the daughter of Celsy and that just makes her
soooo happy. She even came to church yesterday and accepted a baptism
date for the 30th of January.
They still haven't moved so there still in our area hahahha that is one
thing that I've learned is that when people say they are going to move,
many times it doesn't happen and that is perfectly fine with me. Celsy
and Liam and Carlos are doing great and are so excited. Celsy told us
yesterday that shes never been so happy in her life. We eat with her on Friday and she isjust so excited to give us food. I wish that all the members were as excited as the recent converts to feed us.
So
yesterday we went to the Mission house to do some planning for some training's this week and the mission department had sent President some
mission videos about some changes that all the missions are going to
have to make. One of the changes is that the normal changes get together
that we have on Tuesday
of week one when all the missionaries who have changes get together and
then we reveal the changes is no longer going to happen. I guess they
want all the missionaries to go strait to their area and they gave
permission for missionaries to travel alone in this time of getting to a
new area. So needless to say we have to figure out how in the world we
are going to figure out how to do this because we're in Mexico and we
don't want a bunch of sister missionaries alone with all their bags
traveling on local Mexican transport haha Needless to say it should be
pretty interesting.
Right now we are just
waiting for President to get done with some interviews then we will head
to the mission house to start on the changes for the next change haha
we are doing them way early because one of the kids of President is
getting here on Wednesday
and he wants all the time he can to spend with them, I don't blame him.
So we will see how it goes. Were still planning on having 3 assistants
for the next change because there's still an odd number but the question
will be if E. Page leaves or stays so that will be interesting. Were
going to have to close another 4 areas this change, we keep just losing
tons of missionaries and aren't getting very many.
Haha
so we just got back from like 9 hours of changes hahaha. Looks like the
three of us will still stay together for another change so I'm super
stoked but things could change.
Well Fam, I
guess that's about it. It was so good talking to you guys this past week
and I am just doing so good and life honestly couldn't be better. I cant
imagine my life without serving a mission and all the things that I have
learned here. I love this time of the year and know that Christ is our
Savior and that he knows every single thing that we will ever pass for
and he is with us every step of the way. I have the best family in the
world and the best life!
