So
this week was one of those pure division after division weeks. We
actually were able to do 4 divisions in a row from Tuesday til Friday.
President is honestly such a good sport and went on 4 to and that means
every night were getting home pretty late and leaving super early in the
morning so we can knock on there doors at 8 in the morning. On Tuesday I
got to go with a zone leader to Tlaxcallan (the area that I trained my
son in like a year ago) it was super fun and fun to see everyone again
and they all remembered me. Then on Wednesday I went with another ZL in
his area and Thursday stayed here in my are with another ZL and then on Friday went with President out to visit some elders in the boonies. I
always love going with Pres and its just super sweet getting to spend
some good 1 on 1 time in the car and just talking about super sweet
stuff.
So the disappointing news is the Victor
Leon was not able to get baptized this week, its actually kind of an
interesting story. So he has this crazy aunt who absolutely just does
not like us and is always telling him not to listen to us. So he is
actually renting his house from this aunt and she told him that if he
got baptized then she would kick him out of the house, i didn't think
that was to nice but anyways, we are searching for a house for him and
trying to find out what we can do to help him. Hopefully we can get
something figured out this week and get him baptized on Saturday.
Luis,
the young man had a date for the 27 and it also fell because he didn't
come to church yesterday. We are super confused with him and he always
tells us that he is going to come but just always backs out at the last
second. So we will see what happens. We found 13 new investigators this
week so were pretty stoked about that and hope that some of them can
progress and get in the waters of baptism.
So
this week is Christmas, I really cant believe it, It just doesn't feel
like Christmas, I think its just cause the weather is always the same
here, the only difference is that sometimes it rains and sometimes it doesn't. This whole week on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday we have our Christmas conferences which will be super fun and a good time to just
kind of relax maybe a little bit and have some fun. So we will go to each
on of those and then on Friday is Christmas and were planning on doing
some service in a prison or something and then work and then talk to
yall. Were thinking that we will call around 5:00 Pm Mexico time but that could possible change, I will keep you guys
updated. We need to figure out where were going to do it at because our
computers in the offices don't have cameras. I will keep you guys
updated.
Dad, just about your Qs. So when we
have changes, the news always get here on Monday morning at around 9 in
the morning. Then we all go to the mission house for training and
breakfast and lunch. Then at 6 in the evening, companion ships of
missionaries who are close each come and get one of them and take them
with them till the changes the next day. Then after the changes, the
missionaries who are leaving come to the mission house and eat and have
their talk and then sleep a little bit but usually are leaving to head
to the airport at all times of the night starting at like 12 in the
night till like 5 in the morning. The worst thing is that this night we
have to be awake and be calling for taxis to come get them all night
long.
That's about it Family. Life is so great and I'm so blessed to be a missionary. Im so thankful for this time of
season and for Christ in our lives. Our theme for the conferences is
What will i give. Just something to think about, I cant believe I will
talk to you guys on Friday and then after that just 5 more months. Time
is going by so fast and I just hope to use the best of it because this
is a once in a lifetime opportunity to share this happiness with all.
Love you guys
E. Laserbeam
