Another good week down here in good ole Mexico. First off I will talk a little bit about changes becasue dad you had the question. So E. Carroll the other AP left two weeks ago becasue a new kid got here from brazil and he went to train him (whenever we get a missionary from brazil they always send them here at a weird time) so then me and E. Page had a week together and then this past monday is when the news usually get here and we spend the day with them in the mission house and at 6 pm on Monday they all go out with a companionship for the night and then on Tuesday are the changes and they recieve their trainers. We recieved E. Evans in the changes as our companion and its been great so far. He's from Virginia and came here about the same time as us. Mom, you asked about E. Page and yes he plays ball and football and is actually going to Idaho state to play football after the misison.
So this week has been a little stressful cause we've had quite a few problems with missionaries. First off, one of the new missionaries that just got here a week ago flew home this morning because he's and american and mexico was just to hard for him so that was kinda sad. We've also had tons of missionaries not being super obedient and weve had to do a few emergency changes, and these kinds of things kinda stress President out. If it were up to me I would just send them all home but President told us something cool this week, he said that it would be a lot easier on everyone just to send them all home, but we have to see them through the Lord's eyes and their potential and do everything that is possible to help them out.
ON Tuesday we got to go to the last night little party of the missionaries who are going home and we got to hear the marriage talk again so that was pretty fun but I think the food that we ate gave my companions food poisoning or something because the next day they were both just barfing there guts out but it didn't do anything to me so that was kinda interesting.
This week was the temple didication of Tijuana so we didn't have church this week and just watched that instead. It was kinda hard becasue none of our Investigators could come to church this week but there was a cultural event on saturday that could count for an attendance if they came so we had 5 investigators there so we were pretty happy. There weren't really baptisms performed due to this either in the mission so that kinda hurt us, right now we have 25 baptisms for the month of december and have 3 more weeks to get to 100. The most we've ever gotten is 71 so if we get more that that we will be so happy. Our mission keeps lowering in misisonaries though, at one point we were at 230 missionaries and now were around 165 and are having to close lots of areas.
OUr investigators are doing great, Victor Leon has his baptism scheduled for this Saturday but he might go to mexico city to visit family and if he does we will just move it to the 26. He's doing great though, he loves everything and I've realized it's so much easier to teach the oldies about the commandments becasue they really don't have problems like the younger ones. He came to the cultural event and is trying to bring his cousins to the church too haha. The other day we had a lesson and after asked him to take us to present us with his neighbours and he didnt even hesitate and we went outside and he presented us with everyone and we found a new out of it haha.
That's about it family, Mom i still havent gotten the christmas package, let's just hope it doesnt take 19 years like last year hahaha. Life here is good,
I'm so happy and tired and things couldnt be better. Bo, happy birthday, hope you had a good Bday and best of luck on finals, Love ya Fam.
