Everything is just a little interesting
right now. Me and Elder Zamora are just so different it's kinda hard. So
yesterday was very interesting because he does not like to walk in in the
sun and we spent so much money the first week on the metro, so this week
i told him we have to cut back on how much we use the metro. So
yesterday morning we were heading to church, which is like 40 minutes
walking, and i told him we can either take the metro now or after church. So he told me now and that was fine. Then after church we walked back
to our area and he was just so mad and he wouldn't talk to me but i made
him some hot chocolate and that got him to talk a little hahahhaha. It
was kinda funny. So it's kinda been a little hard, he just doesn't have the
same desire to be obedient and work hard like i have and is fine just
sleeping in and not doing studies but it doesn't affect me. I remember
when Elder Gallegos left me i was so worried and scared about getting a
bad companion, but now it's just like "whatever" and doesn't really affect me
and all is good.
So the other elders left us
with a couple people to teach but we already dropped them because they
were never home or we would go there and they were flat out drunk or
something. So we have been searching for new ones just like my last area.
So on Tuesday
night we were walking at like eight when this 17 year old kid came
running up to us and he told us a little about him and asked us how he
can become a Mormon. We were both stunned because that has
never happened to us before. So we put a lesson with him the next day
and he was just gold and was just looking for peace and really had a
interest in what would happen after death. So we were WAYYYYY excited
about him and yesterday we had our mission correlation and were talking
about him and found out that he lives right outside the ward boundary
and lives in the area of some of the sisters in my district so that was
kinda a bummer and now we have to pass the reference. But hey, it's all
good and hopefully he progresses well with the hermanas.
We
found two other sweet investigators this week. It's a single dad named Juan and his 17 year old son named John hahahhahaha it was so funny when
i heard them say their names and i couldn't help but bust up laughing
because its the same name hahahahahah! But they were a reference from a
dentist in another ward and they were clients of his and wanted to learn
about the church so we went and taught them on Saturday
and it was a three hour lesson . Juan the dad had sooooooo many
questions and some of them were super hard so we tried our best to
answer them ha i just hope we didn't teach any apostasy. So needless to
say the next lesson we are going to try bringing a very smart member
with us. But they are pretty sweet and have a great interest. They even
went and watched meet the Mormons on Friday when it came out here.
District
leader continues to be great. I love it but I'm sooooooooo tired. After
this i am going to sleep for the rest of pday until 6 because i am just
honestly drained but life is just good, i am so grateful for all the
good and all the hard times on the mission, i have learned so much and
am growing and im still the same ole Cado Law but now i have a testimony
of this church. Lovin Life And mom and dad you asked about Walmart,
they still only have Mexican milk but now i am use to it but they do
have candy from America but all the American stuff is sooo expensive
so i don't eat much of it hahha. LOVE YOU GUYS
