What is up my Family!!!!!!!
I remember before i left somebody told me that in
Puebla they are celebrating something every day hahaha and that is flat
out true. They celebrate the weirdest stuff and I just dont understand.
This whole week has been so weird and everybody
ahs been walking around with a big baby of Jesus, i have no clue why
but they buy different outfits for him and everything. Some of the
things they do here are just so weird haha
Another sick, delicious awesome week here in
tlaxcallan and the work is going forward and were just kickin it and
working hard and having fun.
We continue to teach Emilio and he is just flat out
sweet and has his baptism for sunday the 15 at seven am in the morning
haha dont ask me why but thats when he wanted it. He is so ready and is
going to be solid in this gospel. This week
i have been teaching his daughter english too, she is 17 and actually
has pretty good english haha and its pretty sweet because Emilio just
makes us food the whole time and he just loves the missionaries. His
wife is still kinda cold but when he takes us home
after our lessons he always has us teach his daughter in his car on the
way to our house its pretty funny and hes so sweet and were going to
climb a volcano with him in his ferrari car the next monday haha
We taught the family preciado this week again and
we just had such a sweet lesson with them about the plan of salvation
with them and the bishop came with us so that was sweet and the spirit
was so strong. Ive learned the best way to get
someone to do anything is to talk about the family, because everybody
wants and loves their family and wants the best for them. So we just
really focused our lesson on that and how a family witht his gospel can
return to the presence of god for all eternity.
That is why this is the gospel of happiness and i love it. We have our
next lesson with them on wednesday and were going to try putting a date
for baptism so we will see how that goes.
We continue to teach fausta and reynaldo, alli
swell with them and they were both at church yesterday and you would
just think they wer emembers and bring their hymnbooks and everything ha
they are golden and are just waiting for this paper.
So this week we had our ward mission activity and
it was jsut flat out sweet. We talked about the difference between the
church and the gospel and the spirit was so strong. Maybe were going to
church every sunday and the activities but
are we reallyu doing those things that will lead us to the celestial
kingdom. Before the mission i just kinda went through the motions and in
church i was always thinking about ball or something haha but now i
have my own testimony andf i just love the church
and the spirit that we feel here and know that just going to activities
wont get us to our goal.
This wednesday i was a judge for a school for their
english spelling bee. I was judge for four different groups of kids
from liked 5 to 13 and it was just flat out terrible. THey were such bad
spellers and of course i was the person who
had to ring the bell and tell them it was wrong and spell the right
word haha needless to say i never want to be a judge again.
On saturday our high priests had an activity and we
wen t with them and it was so funny because all we did for 6 hours was
eat and play soccer and it was the elders, teh four of us vs the 8 high
priests and i was really surprised because
their not the youngest bunch of peeps and they went all out and
needless to say their were some really sore high preists yesterday at
church and they actually won us in soccer haha
