First
off i want to talk about Emilio............So we did not go to the
volcano today with him because today was the only day he had before the
baptism to do his interview and he had it today at ten in the morning.
So we weren't there but i texted the other missionaries just barely and
they told me..........That he did not pass. I have no clue what happened
and i really hope its just my other son Giraldo being a little dork
because he was so ready. Me and Chacon finished up his lessons yesterday
and he just bore a sweet testimony about this church and how it was
exactly what he was looking for as he wanted to change and that he never
thought in our first lesson with him that now he would be getting
baptized. I really hope its not serious and that he passed his interview
but if not we will just keep working.
Fausta
and Reynaldo are still doing just dandy. The last Tuesday we just had a
sweet lesson with them about prayer and it was way powerful and you
could feel the spirit so strong. Then we visited them on Saturday and right when we got there Fausta wanted to tell us a story. She told us on Wednesday
morning she was just feeling sad because she has two kids and Reynaldo
and her two kids are both over twenty so she was telling us how they all
left to work and she is always just so lonely because she is always
home alone and gets kinda depressed i think so she told us she said a
little prayer that heavenly father would help her find work so after
that she got out of bed to go buy something and was walking and her neighbor asked her if she could work for a few weeks in his store he
had haha so that was a sweet testimony builder for her about the power
of prayer and just one of the little miracles that i have seen here on
the mission. Its so sweet and i love it
The Preciado family has kinda been on pause this week because the dad makes
gorditas and he has had this huge event here in tlaxcala where they just
set up tons of shops and it lasts for like 15 days so we will continue
their lessons on the fifteenth when he finishes, but the good thing is
he gives all all the gorditas we can eat for free woo woo haha
Yesterday
i gave my first talk here in sacrament meeting. i had to give a
two minute talk in the mtc and i remember how bad it was and how
nervous i was and i remember i dreaded my farewell talk for my whole
life... but i'ts crazy to see the change now. Its just like "whatever" and
i gave it in Spanish and killed it!!!!!!! I gave it on the book of Mormon, and in this last general conference the talk from Richard g Scott. He says that reading your scriptures every day is more important
than sleep, work and just about everything. So family, remember to read
your scriptures
Giraldo just sent me a text and told me that Emilio passed!!!!!!! haha I'm so happy so we should have his baptism on Sunday
at 7 in the morning because he is just funny and wants to see who his
true friends in the church are, so hopefully some members show up.
This
week we will find out if we have changes. It is crazy to think how fast
these 12 weeks have gone training and i have learned so much. I'm hoping
to have changes and to shake things up so pray for that. Family that
is all and I love you guys so much and love being a missionary!!!
