Hi Cado,
How the heck are you? I get your emails that your mom sends out
every week and I thought it was about time I sent you a quick note. It’s great
to see the spiritual growth that you have gained. I have to admitt you have
spurred me on to change a few things in my personal life. It’s weird how much
of an influence you have had. I realize that the testimony that I gained when I
was on my mission never left. I may have ignored it from time to time but it is
still there. When we look at everything in perspective, The Gospel of Jesus
Christ is all that matters. It encompasses everything! Thanks for being such a
great kid and somebody that I’m glad to know.
If you get a minute would you do me a favor and send you ole buddy
Jace a quick email. He’s struggling a little with finding good friends and
doing what he knows he should. He’s back on the right track but sometimes feel
lonely when he not participating in the not so good things his roommates are
doing.
It was so great that you guys were so close and keep each other
out of trouble growing up. He’s finding that he misses his good ole buddies
that have the same interest and believes. I’ve encouraged him to go on a
mission but he’s not sure that’s what he wants to do. If he doesn’t want to go
that’s fine, I just want to see him find good friends and do what is
right.
Thanks again for being you! You will never know how much good you
are doing. Not only in Mexico but here at home. I know you are wondering who is
this guy writing this email. Is this the guy that use to tell me to grow a
pair. We had a lot of good times.
