January 26, 2015

Just want to give a shout out to my family in Roosevelt from Tlaxcala Mexico. Life is good and the work continues to roll forth until every person will hear this sweet delicious gospel. It was a pretty normal week here and nothing to crazy happened and the best thing is....................... We continue to teach Emilio hahahha he has his baptism on the 15 of February but because he works so much he can only hear the lessons on Sunday before church. So, because we need to get him all the lessons, elder Giraldo and Arriaga teach him and then after we teach him for like an hour before church also so that is sweet and he is just so awesome and just loves the missionaries. My companion is going to baptize him and it's going to be so funny cause Elder chacon is literally like 4 feet tall and this guy is like 50 and a pretty big guy and he's trying to get his family to listen to us and I'm going to his house tomorrow to help his 18 year old daughter with English so that should be interesting.

The one good thing about a bad ward is that we do lots of things together with the other missionaries. And since our members don't come with us to lessons we have to go with each other when their isn't a man present. So we have continued teaching Isabel and Miroslave with them and they are sweet and are going to get baptized this Saturday and we have a family home evening with them today.

As far as our area this past week we finally started teaching the familyPreciado. So that was sweet and they are the ones who invited us over for Christmas and the new year. They are so great and have such a great testimony except right when they were about to get baptized like a year ago they had problems with the members here but they  know its true and their 8 year old son had a dream that he was a missionary and wants to be a missionary. So hopefully we can get them back to the strait and narrow.

Fausta and Reynaldo still continue to be doing well and coming to church and were just waiting on those dang papers....I'm pretty sure everyone in Mexico has some kind of problem with marriage issues. Its amazing the difference of the family here and you don't find to many families with the usual dad mom and kids.

We continue to teach the other Isabel and her sister. Isabel is of the church of the seventh day and were just having a hard time getting her to realize that her baptism wasn't valid hahahaha and we're trying to teach them is different times cause when we talked to her sister about baptism Isabel is like.... wait, slow down, you are not ready for this sista hahaha but hopefully we can teach them at different times because sometimes Isabel never shuts her little mouth hehe

So this week one of the sisters in our ward opened up a comida corrida where you can eat like a full meal for pretty cheap. So the members in our ward think this is the best thing that has ever happened and now they just pay her to feed us. We ate with her 6 of the 7 days this week hahaha

So yesterday we taught Fausta and Reynaldo and we always leave them a chapter to read and then the next time we talk about it. I meant to leave them Moroni 7 which is about charity and hope and all that good stuff but I left them Moroni 8 which is that baptism for little kids is terrible hahahaha so it would be pretty interesting when we return and they're probably wondering why the heck i left that.

Thats about it. Life is just good and we had a great week and i even found 200 pesos in the street so things couldnt be better haha Love you guys so much and roo i already got your letter so write me another one ha it only took like two weeks. Love you guys

Cado finally got his Christmas package!
