It was so good talking to you guys on Christmas, Phone calls are so sweet but also so hard at the same time
cause it just reminds me of how much i miss my awesome family and then i
cant even talk cause i'm bawling my eyes out haha. I can't believe how
big Hunter has gotten and how much Mariah has changed haha and that the
little stinker got an iphone 5 and I'm still in a bit of shock about
that.
I have been thinking about our talk and when you guys asked about Mexico i just basically said i'ts dirty and crazy and lots of dogs hahaha,
but really i want to change my answer and really it is great and i am
so glad that this is my mission cause God knew that this is what i
needed and that Cado Law needed a bit of humbling and this is just the
perfect place to do it and it is truly beautiful here and so many good
people.
I don't have much to report on this week because we don't work much on Christmas eve and Christmas and then on Friday and Saturday we were in Puebla for Elder Hamula and then on Saturday
for our meeting with trainers and new missionaries to make sure we are
not being bums and are good examples to our sons. I still have not received my package but i still have hope that it will come someday.
The
trio is pretty sweet so far. Elder Giraldo is a bit interesting but we
get along just fine. I absolutlely love working both of the
areas cause their area is so much better and is seriously where everyone
lives and all of the members. So yesterday we were able to go on three
way divisions with the elders quorum pres and two other people so that
was sweet and there are some really good members in this ward, it's just
they all live in the other area! I'm really enjoying the trio and its fun
having 2 little sons and training them both, so hopefully i can be a
good example to them.
So get this, after i
write we are going to get Elder Giraldo's wisdom teeth out by a less
active in our ward and it is going to cost him 200 pesos hahahahahahha
that is seriously like 15 dollars that is so crazy but I'm glad i got
mine out in a nice dentist place in the U.S:A
So
the elders quorum has been practicing a musical number for like the
last three weeks and of course that meant the missionaries too because
there are like 5 of them total. So yesterday was the big day of the
performance and of course only like 2 elders showed up so it was them
and our trio hahaha and it was flat out terrible, but we sang loud and
proud so that's all that counts.
The high part
of the week besides talking to you guys was on Christmas eve. First we
ate with bishop at 3 and then we went to some investigators of the other
elders at 5 and ate tons and then after i got a call from the family Preciado and we had heard about them but never visited them, but they
were old investigators who love this church and know it's so true but
have just had some serious problems with members. But anyway, they called
me and invited us to dinner at 7 so that was sweet and they are such a
sweet family and their kid wants to go on a mission and we had a great
dinner with them and they invite us back for the 31 for dinner again so
hopefully we can make some progress with them.
