Hey Family.
This is going to be a little
shorter of a letter because we don't have much time. We just went on a
district activity where we went to the sickest cave in the world like
three hours away. It was honestly in the middle of the jungle and we it
was huge and we spent lots of time in the cave on hands and knees
crawling through little tunnels filled halfway with water. It was sick
and it was just like swimming hehe.
So the good news this
week is that Valeria got baptized. WOO WOO Honestly it was so great because absolutely everything blew up last Saturday and Sunday and Monday
and they were having tons of problems as a family and needless to say
they had to go to Puebla and talk to P. Nelson and have an interview
with him to make sure that she could get baptized and it all worked out
perfectly. So she was baptized
on Friday night and confirmed
on Sunday. I got the chance to baptize her.
So my family that we were super stoked to visit this past Monday, the family Segura. We went
on Monday
and they were just money. The husband is a member but his wife isn't, she
was going to get baptized about two weeks ago in Mexico city but then
they moved here. SO we had a great lesson and put a baptism date for the
7th of May and were just super duper stoked. Then we went back Thursday
and they told us they were moving back to Mexico yesterday. NOOOOO it
flat out crushed me haha. So I was feelin kinda down because I thought
that was the miracle that we have been searching for BUT,........just
wait
So yesterday we were chillin in church and Vanessa and
Marta just happened to show up (the two who don't have permission from
there dad) We were just amazed because we haven't had contact with them
for about a month because there is really nothing we can do. There Dad
is in Mexico city so they could come to church and he is searching for
work. So we are praying super hard that he finds work and lives out
there so that they can get baptized hahaha. It would be absolutely
amazing because you can tell how much they really want it.
Sirina, one of our Inv. who has a date for the
20th of May
came to church too. She is about 40 years old and is a little slower.
We got to church and it was so funny, right away she wanted to leave for
some reason and go back home. I talked her into staying for the first
hour at least and she ended up bawling in the sacrament and just
absolutely loved it.
We dropped lots of Inv. this past
week and are just going to focus on some and give them the time that
they need and continue to start searching for more prepared ones. It is
kinda weird and hard to think though that I may not baptize again here.
But Dad, like you said, there is still so much work to do and so many
lives to help change.
SOrry that was kinda short but hey I
love you guys so much. Mom, I talked to the secretaries and they said
that they had my flight and I was suppose to receive it today but who
knows where its at. But im 99 percent sure that I will be home the
24th of May a
Tuesday. Love yall so much
