April 11, 2016

Well Family,

I never thought I would say it but it is officially day 1 of the last change in the mission. I really can't believe it. So we got changes on Saturday and me and ole Cruzy will be staying together and he will be killing me. I'm pretty excited because I really feel like I can help him a lot. And im also super stoked because E. Henderson, one of the boys in the mtc and also in the offices with me just left the offices and is coming to the other area in Zacatlan 2 so it is sweet that me him and page can all end together. I feel so weird though thinking that the next change I know what is happening and I will be coming home.

So the funny story of the week.
I tole you guys a little bit about Roberto last week, the inv of the other Elders who told me that I look like Jesus. So he got baptized on Saturday and asked me to baptize him and to talk in his baptism and to confirm. I don't know what it is but he just really likes me. I felt a little bad for the other Elders but they just laughed about it. But it was a great experience and it always is the highlight to baptize someone.

Valeria is looking good for this Friday at 5 pm. We have had a little problems between her and her mom this past week with some issues that they were having but we are pretty sure that everything is worked out. Satan always tries so hard to get them when they are so close. Keep her in your prayers that everything will go smoothly. She is reading the book of Mormon like crazy and is almost halfway through.

The fam Cruz who I thought were our golden family just so happens that the husband has been way sick and we haven't been able to enter into their house to teach them.

We did receive a miracle yesterday. A less active who just moved here to Zacatlan stopped us in the street with his family and asked us where the church was and to visit them. He is the only member, his wife is not and they have some kids. Not sure how old they are. But we have a lesson with them tonight and we are super excited.

So we have so many Inv in this area and we have been struggling a little to get them to come to church. So I fasted last night and got the impression that it is time to do some cuts. We have seriously found so many people and our area is so big and everyone lives so far away so we haven't been able to give them the time that they need. We usually can only visit them two times a week. So this week we are going to discern and see who is really willing and most like to progress and were going to do some cuts and really try to focus on 7 - 10 and give them the time they need.

Before I forget. Maria Sariamiento in Alfa got baptized this past week. She was the one who we found my first change as assistant and was just golden and the sweetest old grandma but was always caring for her sister in the hospital, I love it and am so happy for her.

So I had to go to Puebla this week and get some blood tests because one of  my companions in the past was found to have a disease but he didnt give it to me so all is well.

Happy Birthday Dad. I was thinking of ya yesterday here. Your the best and I love you so much.

That's about it fam. Mom they should be ordering flights anytime. I am so happy right now but my mind is starting to wander. I just hope to finish strong. Valeria could be the last baptism for me here in the mission but still I can help change so many lives in the future. Love you guys so much
