First off Marco Antonio and him family all came to church this week again. He is still going strong for the 21 of November,
but we are having a bit of troubles with his mom, because she learns
really slow and wants to know everything before she accepts a baptism
date. He also has two kids and one of them is 10 so we need to put a
date with her too!!! They are such a great family and it is crazy
because in this family we have three investigators, a less active( his
wife) that were reactivating and his mother in law. I'm super happy for
them and they are just perfect and love the church and are so nice to
us.
Second Miracle...Denisse and her aunt came
to church too!!!!!!! They only came to sacrament meeting but hey we will
take it. This week was the primary program and they absolutely loved
it. We were thinking about dropping her this week if she didn't come but
she ended up coming so we will see what happens. It was pretty funny at
church when we were participating in the sacrament, she kept asking me
if we recycled the cups and i told her no and she just couldn't
understand why we don't recycle the cups.
This
week has just been great and I have felt the spirit so much. We had some
great divisions with the assistants and i learned so much and then on Friday
we had an emergency zone conference with president because the mission
is just kinda having some hard times right now and lots of missionaries aren't being obedient and aren't working and president in the conference
talked very direct with us and told us that he has taken away temple
recommends from many elders. He shared with us the Greek (i think) war
strategy where they would put all their shields together and were almost
unstoppable, but if one fell they would all fall. Its the same with the
mission, were only as strong as our weakest player. Right now were in
the process of trying to change this and trying to change the culture of
the mission. I actually got the opportunity to talk in this special
zone conference for 10 minutes about the importance of Leader ship
councils in the church and in the mission. Ive been super nervous the
whole week but flat out nailed it and learned tons.
Our
zone though has actually been just the opposite. We have seen miracles
and have had a complete turn around. We might actually break the record
of baptisms that this zone has had in the last 2 years in the month of October. Im just so happy
Well Fam, That's about
it. Life is just great. It is week 6 of the changes and we will find
out who has changes this week. I am pretty sure what will be happening
to me but I will tell ya guys the next week. I love you guys so much and
am so blessed to be here and to be a missionary and am so blessed to
see the hand of the lord here in my life.
