Wow, I'm glad K.O was doing OK, i was
pretty freaked out when i was reading that but she is strong and
probably just ate some chocolate or something!!!!
We
had another solid week here, i really like this place and time is just
moving super fast. This week we will find out if one of us has changes, i
am 99 percent sure i wont have changes because i just got here and my
comp has more time here than me but hey you never know, but I'm praying
that i don't.
So our golden family is still
staying golden. They are seriously the best, i always think that i have
found my favorite people many times on the mission, Enrique from Tlachichuca and then it was Emilio from tlaxcala and then it was Enrique and Gaby from my last area, but now it has changed to my golden
family! They invited us over for lunch on Saturday
which was super awesome because our members forgot haha but they came
to church yesterday and are progressing so great. Miguel is having such a
hard time finding work and I'm a bit frustrated with the bishop and some
members here because they tell him that they are going to help him and
all kinds of stuff and he waits and waits and then they never say
anything else grrrrrrr. Pray super hard that he can find work. I fasted
yesterday for him so we will see how it goes. We put a date for them to
get married the 7 of august which isn't this Friday
but the next one. They seriously don't have any money and we tried to
see if the members would help us but nahhhhhhh they don't want to. Sometimes the members here just need a little kick in the butt!!!!! So my
favorite daddy, it would be great if you could help them, there isn't a
mission rule about this but president has told us that it is fine. The
marriage is like 1100 pesos which is just like 70 dollars haha. I would
just do it but I'm seriously so dang poor here, so let me know what you
guys think!!!! Thanks luuuhhhhh ya haha
Victoria wasn't able to come to church yesterday. Her boss still hasn't given her a
concrete answer about Sundays. But i have no doubts about her, she is
just awesome and always smiling and super happy and just wants to find
god and a better life for her.
We found anew
investigator this week named Yolanda, she is like 40 years old with 3
kids and is a little bit crazy. Throughout the lesson she just kept randomly saying CHIHUAHUA which was really weird and funny and i just couldn't help but bust up laughing every time. So we will see how she goes
and if she progresses.
We had interviews with president this past week and he is flat out sweet. Poor Hermana Nelsen
can't speak at all and has to have a translator at all times. President
told me something sweet in my interview, he said "my success as a
mission president isn't how many baptisms we have each month, my success
as a mission president is determined on who and how my missionaries are
in 20 years" I've been thinking about that a lot and it's so true. Sure
we're here to find and baptize people but the real purpose of a mission
is to convert yourself because that will affect generation after
generation and that's where your baptisms come from!
That's
about it family, life is so great and time is just going so fast. After
this week i only have 7 more changes life!!!! I cant believe it. Hope to
make the best of this time! Love you guys so much. TOODLES
Yours truly Cado(swag master 33) Law
