We
had a super week this week but yesterday NO ONE came to church so when
that happens your super week is all for nothing because the 5 attendances are the hardest thing in the world. But all is swell because
we worked hard and are super obedient and are having fun so we did our
part so no regrets. That's one of the things I've learned here, all we can
do is our part and then like it says in 2 Nephi 2 : 27, they can either
choose to be miserable or happy so hey its all good hahah
Our
golden family is still doing great. They were actually super pumped to
come to church yesterday but Nancy ended up having some problems with her
eyes and they had to go to the hospital. I absolutely love this family,
they have had such a rough life and not many things have gone their
way. They have had lots of problems between them as family and with
money. Both Nancy and Miguel work and they make less than 100 pesos a
day, which is like 7 dollars. They just want to have a better life and
be examples for their 13 year old, Francisco. They feed us every time we
visit them even though they have absolutely nothing, our last lesson with
them i was just impacted by the spirit and i came to realize the
importance of this message and this gospel that we have. We can save
relationships and families through this message and through this
gospel.
Victoria is progressing nicely but her
dingily boss will not let her have Sundays off so that's kinda a
problem. She told us that she is going to talk to him again and insist
again and if it doesn't work that she will search for a new work. So keep
her in your prayers, shes a single mom with all her kids grown and is
just golden and reads and prayers and everything. We seriously have lots
of golden people but they just need to come to CHURCH!!!!!!
This
week we found a man named Edson. Hes an atheist so it was just flat out
weird. I have no idea how to teach an atheist and our lesson was
terrible because how do you teach someone who doesn't believe in god, i
have no clue. But it made me think about the sad life of an atheist, so
the message is family, don't be atheist. Choose to be happy instead haha
So i got to go back to my first area Manantiales on Wednesday with my missionary son. It
was flat out sweet because I got to show people that now i know Spanish
and I'm not dumb haha. We didn't get to see patty because she was out of
town but it was great to visit and have a good time.
That's
about it fam, life is super sweet, we're working super hard and we know
that sooner or later they will come to church. Hope all is sweet with
you guys and remember to pet my dogs. LOVE YALL!!!! (That ones for you
dayton law)
