Family!
Sorry I'm going to be a
little late today, our whole area lost power and we have had a dandy of
a time finding an internet hahah but the important thing is that I am here
now so don't you guys worry.
First off...... THEY ARE
MARRIED!!!!!!! Wow wow, I am so gosh dang happy right now, it was such a
different experience than my first marriage experience. So a member
from our stake really helped us our alot and
on saturday
everything went perfect. It was a little weird because the member just
took us to the house of the judge who lives in the south mission so we
got permission to go there and then we just went and it was super chill
and they signed some papers and bam, they are married. They are
programmed to have their baptism on the 22 which is
this Saturday but I'm a little worried becasue they will have their interview
on Friday
and Nancy drank coffe last saturday and i think president has changed
the rule from 2 weeks without any problems instead of just one. But we
have lots of hope that everything will work out and that they will be
able to get baptized
this Saturday.
After their wedding we went out to eat with them and Nancy just started
bawling and told us how grateful she was for everything that we have
done and that she never imagined her life like how it is right now. She
actually was able to switch works this past weekend to and no longer
works at her bad job with bad houras and now actually is going to work
in the same place as her husband with super good hours and she rests
everysingle
Sunday so that they can come to c hchurch. Keep them in your prayers because its a big week.
We've
been having lots of setbacks with Victoria, its so frustrating because
she is the most prepared investigator that I have taught in my mission
but her boss is a flat out bum. He told her that she must work for a
month and then he is going to start giving her every other
sunday
to go to church. We don't know what to do because she's a single mom and
has kids and it is so hard to find work here if she were to leave and
search for a new job. Hopefully we recieve revelation becasue she needs
to go swimming.
So we have been focusing on finding new
investigators and this week we just found abunch of crazies hahaha. I
swear, ive had so many weird experiences here. This place is seriously
full of weirdos. So yesterday we saw a guy sitting outside his house
smoking, and we contacted him and it was super weird beacause he invited
us to come teach him in his house which like never happens so we went
in and he had someting wrong in his head but it was super funny, for about 20 minutes we just held hands and took turns praying it was super
weird but super funny and i could not help but laughing as we were just
chillin hloldin hands with this guytaking turns praying.
Thats
about it for the week, Life is great, I am so blessed to be a
missionary here in mexico. I'm learning so much and am super stoked to
see what this week brings. Love you guys!!!!
