A good week down and its going to be a
hectic week coming up. We just got done with Enrique and Gaby, we just
went to some clinics so that they could get their blood taken out so
that they could do some tests for the marriage. Tomorrow we will get the results back and will take them to the judge so that he can study them for a couple days and then on Friday they will get married and on Saturday
at 5 is their baptism. I am absolutely so stoked. They are by far the
people I've been most stoked about to get baptized, I can't wait. They
have received so many blessings and have changed so much. This past week
they got legal custody of their 8 year old daughter who is living with
them right now but will go back with their grandparents to finish out
the school year but then will come here permanently and then get dunked
in the water in July to hahaha. They are so pumped for their baptism and
have really seen the hand of the Lord in their lives. Gaby told us
today that when we're with the Lord then he is with us and that he will
make sure everything goes ok. They are the best family and are already
on the calender 3 times to feed the missionaries in June haha. Saturday should be a great day. Keep them in their prayers that everything will go smoothly and all the marriage stuff will work out.
Marisol
has been a little ding dong lately and we don't know what were going to
do with her. Shes like a roller coaster, has a super good week with all
of the conversion process and then just dies and is so dang laze haha
needless to say this was one of her lazy weeks. We have a lesson with
her tonight
so we will see how it goes. I really hope she gets going because her
baptism is on my birthday and it would all just be perfect.
So
we've been teaching this lady named Clotilde for a while and she is like
50 and is blind but has really had interest and has felt the spirit in
our lessons. The problem was her family and they didn't support her at
all and when you're blind and your family doesn't support you its hard to
complete with the commitments we leave! hahaha But this week her family
came around and we actually taught her 3 daughters with her. They really
liked our message and felt good but like everyone, don't understand the
importance of coming to church. So hopefully the spirit can touch them
and that they can feel it is a commandment from god that we go to
church.
We found a couple new couples this week
that we have just started to teach one time. So hopefully some of them
can turn out golden.
This ward is getting a
little better, they have all really came around with Enrique and Gaby
and are really motivated to make them feel at home. They already have
visiting teachers that are visiting them and the ward is planning a
little party on Friday after they are married to celebrate this special occasion in their lives.
So
the funny story of the week is that this area there are tons of TJs or as you know them,
Jehovah witness. And me an my comp like contacting them because they
are just so silly and full of it hahaha. So on Saturday
we contacted this TJ lady and she wanted to give it to us. She told us
that we are crazy that we believe in the book of Mormon and to be funny
said "Johny Smith" Then my comp turned to me and said "do you know Johny Smith" and I'm like "I have no idea." It was pretty dang funny and after
talking about how we had no clue who Johny Smith was she finally said Joseph Smith hehehehe right back at ya TJ hehehe
Tha'ts

come to this great gospel. Life is great and I love you guys so much.
One year from today is the day i will be home hehehehehhehehe Times
