Another solid week down here in the Fuentes. The first week of each month is just absolutely crazy, we spend a good chunk of our week doing informs which pretty much consists of changing all the districts informs for the month so they are correct so that our stake and mission knows the results of every little thing that we have done that month. So thats what we did all of tuesday and wednesday. Then on friday we had our all day zone leader meeting at presidents house shich is just the best thing and the favorite thing of my life. We get to eat breakfast and lunch there and hermana christensen cooks super duper and american so its nice to remember what the good food still tastes like. I love these meetings and especially this one because this is the second to last one and we just talked about the change from mission presidents and for 3 hours president just left it open for us to ask him questions about absolutely anything and we got into some pretty deep doctrine that ive never heard so that was pretty sweet.
This week president has had each missionary think of this question.
"Where does my motivation come from as a missionary"
1-Numbers; such as i want he most baptisms in the mission or something
2- Im scared i will get punished; such as drop down to junior companion
3- because i love it; such as i contact cause i absolutely just love talking to people
4- I do it because my love of the savior
I have been thinking tons about this question and the obvious answer SHOULD be number 4 because we love the savior. I hope that i can change because i think lots of my mission has been number 1 haha and kinda a competition but i think this is a good question to think about not only in the mission but in our life and in the church.
Enrique and Gaby both came to church yesterday and are just doing great. They both have such a great desire. Enrique works all night and worked all night and came strait to church at 9 in the morning. We talked really directly with them this week that they need to get married and they have a date to get married May 29 one day before their baptism. Keep them in their prayers.
MARISOL did not come to church yesterday that little stinker. We dont know what to do with her because she knows it is true she is just so darn laze and always tells us that she just cant get out of bed. We have a lesson with her tonight so we will see what heppens and hopefully we can get her motivated and out of that bed.
We taught diego yesterday but this time his wife was there with him and WOW she thinks she just knows everything. She read the pamphlet of lesson 1 the restoration and just went off about tons of things that she didnt agree with it was kinda weird. We dont know what to do with them because diego is just gold but when he is with his wife he doesnt even talk and she just goes on and on and on so we will see what happens.
Wendy the crying girl on the street we found out lives in the other area that we already gave our 4 baptism dates for this weekend hahaha so we are supplying these sisters with some good people. We have not heard anything if they have taught her or not.
We have some great investigators but we are just trying on getting some more. We started english calsses this last week and we are going right after this to put up posters because not many people want to learn about jesus i have no clue why but everyone here has a desire to learn english so hopefully we can find some good people even if im the worst english teacher ever but its pretty fun and i make a fool of myself.
Its already week 6 here and we will find out who has changes this saturday. Im freaking out and i hope we can stay together and we both told president we wanted to stay together in our interviews and its my comps last change so im pretty sure we will still be together but in our meeting on friday as we were talking about the change of presidents, president told us that 10 of the 24 zoneleaders will be dorpping down because right now lots of Zl have lots of time and he wants all the zoneleaders when president gets here in june to all have atleast one change as zoneleader so we will see what happens. Pray that we can stay together.
Love ya so much family, I still have no clue about sunday and Skype haha we still need to figure that all out and where were going to do it. But i will let yo u guys know in the next couple days what time. I got my birthday package to, i dont know how it only took like a week hahahaha and i just couldnt wait til my birthday to open it. Love you guys so much and cant wait to see your cute little faces on sunday. Toodles
