Sorry that im always writing late these days, on Mondays we have choir practice because the American elders are doing a
special number for when president leaves in June and then after we got
way lost and it took us foreevveerrrrr to get back to our area. But
besides that, this week was WAYYYYYYYYY sweet we are just working our
tails off and its so much fun. Im so tired but its all good. We were
actually able to work in our area lots this week so now i know it a lot
better. We had six investigators that were at church
yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We
have this sweet family of four that is just so awesome. They just
started teaching them the week before i got here so they have around
three weeks listening to the missionaries. They have been to church 2
times already and all four of them have a date for baptism the 9 of May!
The mom is named Gloria and she is divorced and has two daughters named Dalia who is 12, Malissa who is ten and a son Luis who is 8 haha. They
are flat out great and love the church but right now they are living
with this creepy old guy in his house and hes actually a member but he
is just flat out weird so they are wanting to leave as soon as they can,
they really want to find a place still in our area so their kids can
keep going to their school but if not their going to move to a city like
20 minutes away so keep them in their prayers that they wont leave us
because their the best, me and my comp have been searching like crazy
for apartments haha
We have another family that
we just started teaching this past week. Their names our Gaby and
Enrique and they have two little kids. We have had two lessons with them
and they came to church yesterday and really like it. The only bad
thing is that we have a crazy elders quorum president and priesthood
yesterday was soooooooo weird and confusing with lots of apostasy im
sure Bo has some of the same experiences haha but we have a lesson with
them tonight
and hopefully we can clear up the confusion ha. They have a great
desire and the dad even somehow got a hold of a really old book of Mormon
when we came for the second visit because we still hadn't given him
one.
HAHA so this week we found two drug
addicts that we are currently teaching or i should probably say they
found us. They are crazy, there names are Arnulfo and Carlos and they
both have some serious problems but Carlos came to general conference
but we had to take him out because he was so drunk and wanted to get up
and start preaching hahahha. He leaned over to me while we were watching
and said that he didn't like just watching and that he wanted to get up
and just talk and pray hahahah- Its pretty funny the stuff that happens
in Mexico. So keep them in your prayers, who knows how long we will keep
trying to teach them.
Our ward is a bit hard
here, we found out that a missionary a few months ago offended lots of
the members because he didn't eat their food or something and trust me,
if you want to get on the bad side of a Latino all you have to do is
refuse her food and they will never talk to you haha. But hopefully we
can get it going here, we've been trying to eat a lot in the comidas so
they can like us a lot so we will see what happens.
That's
about it family. Life is so good. We have some sweet investigators and i
have the best comp in the world. I found out today that Justino, one of
the investigators that we found and taught in tlaxcalla was baptized
this past weekend so that is way awesome. Dad happy birthday this past
week. Family you guys are the best, love ya so much.
