Dad!!!!! I cant believe you missed priesthood session. This priesthood session was meant just for you and i was thinking about you the whole time because in one of the talks guess what they talked about.........REDWOOD TREES your favorite hahaha.

I made it through my first week with a new companion and being the old one in this area. It was pretty stressful trying to remember where everyone lives and having to make all the decisions. My new comp is Elder Rodriguez, he is from chiwawa Mexico and has been on the mission for 15 months. He is a good missionary and works hard and is obedient so that's all i can ask for but he is a little strange haha. He doesn't like sports and likes dance so needless to say in our many journeys of walking we don't really know what to talk about. But its all good. The regular transfers are on Oct 14 and we will find out if im getting transferred on Saturday, i really doubt i am but im kinda hoping i do.

It wasn't the greatest week as for Tlachichuca. We taught Enrique all of the lessons and he was golden and accepted everything. Then at the end we told him the next step was an interview and i have no clue what is going on but he is absolutely scared to death of this interview and doesn't know about baptism anymore. We haven't been able to get a hold of him for three days but we called Chalo yesterday and he said Enrique was at general conference yesterday so we are going to try talking to him today.

We have decided to drop a lot of investigators and this week we just have been contacting and asking for references from everyone and hope to find a lot of new investigators. The problem with here is everyone is very nice and when we contact their to nice to say no so they always give you an address but its usually not theirs or you waist your time going their and their never their. But hopefully some of them turn out real and that we can find some new investigators that are ready to hear the messages.

General conference was flat out awesome. Before the mission i always thought i wouldn't be able to get through having to watch all the talks on my mission but that is just the opposite. It is like a holiday for missionaries. We got to go spend the night in Puebla because the internet is really slow here and i got to watch conference in the high council room with the other Americans in my zone in english and it was just so nice even if the internet froze every five minutes for a minute or so.

I learned so much and it really seemed like they focus on a few key things.

THe role of parents and their responsibilities. I loved when someone said that one day your kids will appreciate all that you have done. That's so true and i just want to thank you guys for all that you have taught me and i often reflect and never thought i would say this in my childhood but some of my best memories are working outside doing all sorts of stuff with everyone.

Prophets and that we need to worry because 100 percent we have a living prophet in the earth today who still receives revelation in our day and age.

Sacrament. And the sacred ordinance this is. I loved the quote, come prepared to sacrament to have a holy experience.

Choices and challenges. That decisions determine destiny and one of my favorite quotes was...Our purpose here on earth is to be TESTED TRIED and STRETCHED.

And lastly the responsibility we have to help the poor. Because we have been given much we to must give.

All is well here, I love being a missionary and continue to learn so much. I know with all my heart this church is true and theirs no place i would rather be.

Family i Love you guys. Dad i finally got your first five dear elders this week so that was awesome. And the Spanish still has a big road to go but it is getting better. Mom im so glad your back is feeling better and roo keep rocking the sports. Keep praying for enrique this week and that we can find new people who are ready to hear this gospel. I love you guys.
