So first off down here they are always celebrating something and this week was the week of the chiles Enogados. They are flat out crazy. They take a hug he pepper and stuff it with meat and fruit and nuts, kinda a weird combination and then they bake it and put a sauce on it and pomegratite things. I thinki sent a pic the last week. Needless to say that we ate these things two times this week and this weird combination did a weird combination in my stomach and needless to say got me kinda sick and wednesday night i spent in the bathroom barfing and barfing hahaha but now i am much better. But it has been `pretty amazing because this is the first time ive actually gotten sick in almost 15 months!!!!
Victoria, is doing super duper duper awesome. I am so happy for her. SO after her boss saw that she didn't care and was going to asssist church no matter what, he decided to stop being a little bum and he gave her Sunday off woo woo. LITTLE MIRACLES Just like Nephi says, if god commands something,he will provide the way. She is so excited and we are too. She has a date for the 13 of September but we recieve bad news yesterday that this day is the temple dedication for the mexico temple and that we can't do ordinances on this day. So we will probably have to move it back a week but changed are on the 15 so we want to see what we can do because one of us will be going.
We continue to work with Denisse, she didn't come to church yesterday but her family is starting to like us and even feeds us now, so thats pretty sweet. Our goal this week is to get her to come to church. She is 25 years old, single and lives with her parents. (BO i thihnk i found you a match hahahahha jk jk)
So yesterday the 70 for this area of mexico randomly just showed up to our church. It was pretty crazy and we were kinda nervous because the bishop had asked our family to give their testimonies in sacrament haha We had no clue what they were going to say but they absolutely killed it and brought the spirit. And after the 70 spoke and said how impressed he was with them and the spirit that he felt. SO that was soooo sick and i don't think many converts get the chance to bear their testimony infront of a 70 their first sunday as members.
So,this week i got to go back to antequera with one of our district leaders. It was so sweet and everybody remembered me and i got to visit all my senior citizen friends. so that was absolutely sweet.
